We were so blessed to have Brittany, our daughter and her husband Curtis with us for Christmas here at the Shelter! Daniel and Hope had so much fun playing games and hanging out together!

Woolworth's Donates Christmas Food!!

We want to say a very Big Thank You to our local Woolworth's for providing our food for Christmas Day!! We had Christmas ham and it was so very very yummy!! Mama Janis made us Sweet Potato Casserole, Jello, potatoes and carrots!! Our tummies were full to over flowing!!

We want to say a very, very Big Thank You to Bragi Par Valsson and Christine van Deventer and the Perlukafarinn customers in Iceland for providing Christmas gifts for all the children! Each child opened up two brand new outfits and a new toy just for them!! Then there were chocolates and bicycles too!! Bragi and Christine also blessed us with a gift certificate for our local grocery store so that we can buy our supplies!! We are so very grateful for the kindness and generosity of these special friends. They made our Christmas Day a very special one! We pray God's richest blessings upon them in this New Year!

Friends At Lighthouse!!

Lorinda and Luana are working at the Lighthouse! Lorinda is our Finance Manager and Luana has been with us for the past 3 months volunteering at the Lighthouse! We have been so blessed to have Luana here helping with our kids! She is from Australia and will be going to Capetown to be with the YWAM base there. What a blessing to have her here!!

The Lighthouse has been with out Baby Scales for some time as our old one just gave out!! We are so very very grateful for the blessing of a new baby scale provided by the friends at Peglerae and La Femme Hospitals!!
