Kansas City Team from Sheffield Family Life Center Visits Lighthouse!!

We were so privileged to have the Sheffield Team come to South Africa and visit all our children here at the Lighthouse!! What a blessing they were to all of us here in so many ways!! They started out by helping us change out all the children's clothing kits from winter to summer kits as our days are getting warmer and warmer here!! So that was 30 kits of clothing they had to mark and prepare the drawers! They also did Spring cleaning for us as they washed down all our beds and shampooed all the carpets. They also sewed hand towels for us out of our old towels! They worked in our garden and cleaned out our storage room!! What an accomplishment that was for us!! They also found time to play and rock and feed our babies and toddlers!! We are so very grateful for the blessing they were to all of us!!

We want to say a Big Thank you to the Sheffield Team from Kansas City, Missouri USA who shampooed all our carpets while they were here.. They rented a machine and worked tirelessly til the carpets were clean! After all that work they went and bought us our very own carpet shampooer!! So we are so grateful that we will be able to do this ourselves when ever we need the carpets cleaned! Which with 31 babies and toddlers that should be every other week don't you think! Ha!!

Trip To The Sea!!!

Dear friends of our girls provided them with a trip to the sea so they could experience the sand the sea and the shells for the first time! What a blessing this time was for Brooke and Mama Janis to take the girls and make some great memories!!

We had a big Birthday party for our big girl now as she turned 8 years old!!! She invited some of her girl friends from school. Brooke and Mama Janis had a grand time having a slumber party with all the girls!!
