7th Annual LCS Christmas Party!!

Pictured here are all our Caregivers and Children at the Lighthouse Children's Shelter Christmas Party!! We celebrated in a big way due to all the generosity of so many people from our community here in Rustenburg!! We had a grand day blessing our Children and Caregivers with their Christmas presents!!

Jumping Castle Fun!!

The Safari Tuin Pizza Den donated their Jumping Castle and Slipping Slide for our Christmas Day Party!! What a blast the children had jumping and sliding for the day!!

Christmas Party Lunch!!

Luanna Martin, Lorinda Venter and Jacqueline Saekanelo helping to serve the food at the Christmas Party! What a blessing we had as all the food was donated by various businesses and individuals!! We were so grateful for Megaforce Motorcycle Club, Mr. Shaek Habeeb, Rustenburg Square Spar and Three Star for making it all possible!!

Megaforce Motorcycle Club Donates Toys!!

The Megaforce Motorcycle Club had a Toy Run and donated new toys and wrapping paper for our Christmas Party!! They also collected over 8 thousand Rands from their club for the Lighthouse! The day before our party they brought us the donations of new toys, wrapping paper, meat, ice cream and cones for our celebration! Pictured here is Judy, Rikki and Sandra who helped make all this possible!! We are so thankful for their generosity!

Hatfield South Church Brings Loads of Presents!!

Sarina and Kara brought a car full of goodies to the Lighthouse for the LCS Christmas Party! The toys and presents were all donated by Hatfield South Church in Pretoria! How grateful we were as each child received a new toy wrapped and addressed with their name on it!! We praise the Lord for His provision through these precious friends from Hatfield South!!

Christmas Wrapping Party!!

We recently had a day of fun by wrapping all the donated presents for the children and Caregivers!! What a time we had around the table while we wrapped, ate popcorn and candy, sang Christmas carols and just had fun!! Catherine Has A Birthday!!

We celebrated Catherine Moloi's birthday and said a Big Thank You to her for her years of serving us! Catherine has been with us for 7 years and is such an incredible blessing to the Lighthouse Children's Shelter! She is caring for all the children's clothing and bedding each day! We are so grateful for her love for Jesus and all our children here at the Lighthouse!

Phl and Lily Reynolds Say Goodbye!

Janis and Hope saying goodbye to Mom and Dad Reynolds at the airport as they return back to the USA. What a blessing they have been these past 6 weeks! We have kept them busy and we have accomplished so much in the short time they have been here! We are so grateful for their love, prayers and support of us as a family and the Lighthouse Children's Shelter! Phil and Lily return to work with the MAPS RV program where they have been helping to build Home Missions churches in the USA for the past 15 years. They start their next project in January 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. We love you, Mom and Dad!!

A Visit To the Lion Park!

Phil and Lily Reynolds, Janis' parents along with Daniel and Hope had an experience of a life time holding a baby lion cub!

Brooke returns to USA

Mom and Dad along with many others had to say our goodbyes to Brooke recently as she returned back to the USA. We are so grateful for the time that she was able to be here with all of us. She was a blessing to all and especially to our little ones at the Lighthouse. Brooke begins classes at Edison Community College in January.

Each year we hand out 2 year Certificates and present each with a special gift. We also hand out certificates for Outstanding Performance. Caregivers Meeting

The first Wednesday of every month you will find us meeting with our Caregivers and going over an agenda of issues regarding the care of the children here at Lighthouse! We are so very thankful for every Caregiver that God has blessed us with here at LCS! We pray God's blessings upon each one!!
