The Granny Brigade is Here Again!!

This past week we were privileged to have the Granny Brigade visit us once again! This is their 3rd Annual trip to South Africa! They come to love and hold and rock and pray over the children at the Lighthouse! They are all Grandmas who have had lots of years of experience loving children! We are so delighted to have them come and love on our children for a bit of time! The women come from all different states in the USA. The team is headed up by Miriam Machovic. She is an incredible inspiration as she is 80 years old and has spear headed this idea of the Granny's Brigade. She challenges women like herself to do something with the time and experience that God has given them in their later years. Each year it is a different set of Granny's!! They have been such a blessing in so many ways!! We want to thank them for their love and support during their time here at the Lighthouse! A huge Thank you to Joe and Mishael Newell who have hosted them while they have been in S.A.
